Lorna Masters Obituary

Lorna Masters Battle Creek Mrs. Ted (Lorna) Masters, age 67, of Battle Creek, went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 6, 2009 at her home. Lorna was a member of Family Altar Church and a former member of Central Wesleyan Church in Holland serving in woman's ministries. Lorna and her husband owned and operated M-140 Auto Parts in South Haven. They served as missionaries in South Dakota, Haiti, and Brazil. Her passion was to serve the Lord, family and friends as well as having the gift of hospitality. She is sadly missed. She is survived by her husband, Ted, of 44 years; children: Beverly and R.J. Riedel of Battle Creek, Sue and Dave Vander Heide of Holland, Keith and Ellen Masters of Battle Creek; grandchildren: Joe, Nicole, Erin, Josh, Cobi, Tori; brothers and sister: Dennis and Polly Richter, Mike Fox, Gary Fox, Harry and Bobbi Perry, Randy Perry, Carolyn Hill; sister-in-law: Mrs. Raymond (Carol) Perry; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2009 at Family Altar Chapel 14844, 6½Mile Road in Battle Creek. Pastor Travis Davis will be officiating. Burial will be in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street in Holland and from 10:00 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 9, 2009 at Family Altar Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to Family Altar Chapel. A website is available at www.lakeshorememorial.com for those who cannot attend services.
