For 13 years you brought me a great deal of joy. Thank you for teaching me how to fish...I will always remember how much fun we had going out in the boat and spending the entire day at the lake.
I miss you and you will ALWAYS be my "Grandpa Jack".

shelby: I appreciate your acceptance of the wonderful friendship that Jack and I had for forty plus years. He was my "brother", confidant and our private joke club emcee.

We laughed through many trials, deaths, illnesses, successes and perils, we managed to get each other through. NOW WHO WILL I TELL MY SECRETS TO? (Smile)

You are not alone in this matter. I am available and if you will allow us we will be the same kind of friend to you.

Feel free to call, visit or bend our ears. Thats what friends are for.

At the right time, you will hear from us in a special way.

Shelby,
Jack was a great man. We are truly blessed to have you as neighbors. We will miss him, riding his lawnmower and waving, sitting outside in his chair "just thinkin" he would say, and how he enjoyed his family. He was happiest when you were home and the house was full.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Love,
