Rosemary L. Dack

Rosemary L. Dack Parma Rosemary L. Dack, 88, of Parma, passed away November 22, 2009 at Allegiance Hospice Home in Jackson. She was born December 16, 1920 in Eckford Township, Michigan to Clifton and Louise E. (Duckham) Dowding. On December 16, 1939 she was married to Wayne W. Dack in Leslie, Michigan and he preceded her in death June 5, 2001. She has been a resident of Jackson County for most of her life. She was a Homemaker and also helped her husband around the Farm. She was a member of the Pope United Methodist Church -Parma, A.A.R.P., The State Employee's Retirement Association, and the Jackson Citizens Patriot Golden Club. She is survived by 1 son, David (Patricia) Dack of Albion; 1 daughter, Ruthann (Terry) Twiss of Springport; 3 grandchildren, Penelope (Craig) Ward, John (Ilene) Dack, and DuWayne (Dawn) Twiss; 9 great-grandchildren, Cara, Mackenzie, and Austin Ward; Amber (fiance Aaron Halstead) Dack, Paul, and Bradley Dack; Kristan, Danielle, and Coleman Twiss; 1 great-great-granddaughter, Cassidy Halstead; 2 stepbrothers, Robert Dowding of Onondaga, Clifton "Spike" Dowding of Olivet; 1 stepsister, Rhea Danderon of Olivet; special friends and caregivers, Jackie and Mitch Beene of Albion; 1 brother-in-law; 5 sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by 6 brothers, Orville, Rex, William, Parl, Soloman, and Don Dowding; and 2 sisters, Irene Myers and Doris McConnell. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at the Erie Street Chapel of the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 208 West Erie Street, Albion, MI 49224 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be Wednesday November 25, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Fugate officiating. Burial will follow at Tompkins Cemetery, Tompkins Township Michigan.
