Cecile Albright Obituary

Cecile M. Albright Sherwood Cecile M. Albright, age 94 of Sherwood, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at the Laurels of Coldwater. Cecile was born on April 20, 1915 in LaGrange County, Indiana to Ora and Loraine (Richardson) Morrill. She graduated from Sherwood High School in 1932. Cecile married Harry A. Albright on October 6, 1934 in La Grange, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years on January 19, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Donald and Laynard Morrill, a granddaughter Laura Andra, and a great grandson Isaac Ray Reed. Cecile is survived by sons: Melvin (Jean) Albright of Union City, Loyd (Peggy) Albright of Sherwood, Roger (Kathy) Albright of Sherwood and Jerry (Linda) Albright of Colon and daughters Marla Stroud of Coldwater and Judy (Ken) Wyant of Sherwood: 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren; one sister in law Margaret Scharf of Englewood, FL. Visitation will be Monday, November 30, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Spencer Family Funeral Home in Athens. Funeral Services to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Trent Hammond officiating. Interment to be at Sherwood Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Branch County or the American Cancer Society.
