Kay: Sorry to hear of Rick's passing. I've known Rick since we were in 5th grade at Post school. Most all of my memories included "Brown". We were in Boy Scouts together, played football at Southeastern, Summer baseball at Hamilton park and we attended Kellogg Comm. College. I have many photos of Rick at my Dad's house,whenever we would gather for a BBQ. Rick and Liz came to Arkansas, when Ellen and I got married in 1976. At times like this its good to know that Rick was loved by his many friends and that he'll not be forgotten. I tell stories to my friends here in Ark. about Rick playing the drums, teaching me how to ride a motorcycle and our adventures when we were young and crazy. Ed "Gator" Shaver

To the family of Rick;

I was sad to read of Rick's passing. I worked with Rick at Kelloggs and he lockered close to me and I talked with him off and on between shifts. I got to really get to know him this past summer at his 40th class reunion as I sat with him and his highschool sweetheart Gail Hutchinson. I graduated in 1968 so I knew many in this class. Rick was always genuinely happy to see and talk to people. Please accept my sympathy.

To the family of Rick Brown;
I was saddened to read of Rick's untimely passing in the paper. Rick and I grew up in the same neighborhood, and I remember with fondness his friendship. He was truely a gifted drummer, and he spent many hours with his band mates practicing their music in his home. He was always the first to buy the latest Beatles album, and was eager for others to join him in listening to them. He loved off-road motorcycling, keeping his car waxed and his beloved dog "Mouse". He had a keen scence of humor, the gift of gab and he always had a smile on his face. He was a good friend to many and he will be missed.
