America Fanick Battle Creek America Fanick, 74, of Battle Creek passed away Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Battle Creek Health System. She was born November 5, 1935 in McAllen, TX the daughter of Roque and Anita (Munoz) Gonzalez. She married Rudy R. Fanick on April 21, 1964 in San Antonio, TX and he preceded her in death on January 16, 2000. America loved to read and scrap book. She also loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Darryl) Case of Battle Creek, Linda (Mike) Engle of Bellevue; 11 brothers and sisters; grandchildren, Corey (Tia) Engle, Christy Engle, Brandon Case and Zac Case. She was preceded in death by her parents and great grandson, James Engle. Funeral services will be held at the Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, San Antonio, TX. Burial will be in San Fernando Cemetery in San Antonio, TX. Memorial tributes may be made to American Lung Association.
