Bradford Iles Obituary

Bradford "Ray" Iles Jr. Battle Creek Bradford "Ray" Iles Jr., 64 of Battle Creek died Monday January 11, 2010 at home surrounded by his sister and niece. He was born on May 29, 1945 in Dayton, TN to Bradford R. and Anna R. (Yates) Iles. Ray graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in1963. He served in the U.S. Air Force and then worked for 30 years at DLSC, retiring in 1986. He is survived by a sister, Bobbie Joyce Iles, a daughter, Brandi Iles, three grandchildren, a niece, Kari (Bruce) Johnson and a nephew, Jesse R.A. Shearer, all of Battle Creek. Ray enjoyed riding his Harley and fishing. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. His ashes will be buried at Ft. Custer National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are by the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.

Bobbie, I am very sad to hear of Ray's passing....my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Althought it has been many years since I have seen either one of you...I have the most fond memories of you and Ray during our school days at Central and Southwestern.
