Brian Toplis Obituary

Brian Keith Toplis In loving memory of Brian Keith Toplis, who left us Jan. 25, 2009 at the age of 53. He was born May 31, 1955 in Antofagasta, Chile of British parents Edgar Norman Toplis and Doreen White Davies. He attended the Antofagasta British School, Chile, Brighton College and Bournemouth College of England with a degree in Hotel Management. He set the pace in the global hotel industry for hospitality marketing. Survivors include family members Mr. and Mrs. Robert Davies, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Edmonds, David Tolley and the Hammond family. He also leaves many loving friends and his cherished fur children Casper, Candy Corn and Midnight. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Carolyn Rene Lawson-Toplis and his parents. Brian loved life to the fullest and was a devoted husband, businessman, avid boater, golfer and world traveler. He will be missed by all. A Celebration of Brian's Life will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2009 10:00 AM at Mansion Memorial Funeral Home, 1400 36th Avenue East, Ellenton.
