To Kayla and her family.
Its unfortunate that life is so unfair. Some of the worst things happen to the best of people. Kayla was one of those people. She was so loving, and carefree. Thought of others before herself, and always had a huge smile on her face. I remember she told me one day that "its unfair that its [Kayla] that became sick. Its going to be hard. Its true that [Kayla] suffered, but those close to [her] will suffer more because they wish it was them in [her] place." We all will miss her.
Much love!

Kayla is now at peace and running free in God's garden, so may that give you comfort. Her courage was truly an inspiration. With sympathy to all her family, Love Sheila and Jay.

Dearest Kayla, even though I never met you physically I knew you were a wonderful girl and now that you are in Heaven God will have a great angel by his side. It is sad that you had to leave this world of such a young age and I pray for your parents and family. All my love from Malta, Nadine Camilleri , May 10, 2008.

Kayla,
you were the bravest most selfless person i've ever know. you showed me what real friendship really was, what it truly meant. when i was doing drugs and i told you, you didnt ask why, or say to stop, or tell me that if i didnt stop you wouldnt be my friend. you talked to me, asked me what the point was. made me look at my life and see that it wasnt worth throwing away. you made me feel like it was okay to be me. you didnt judge me, you were my friend when no one else was. in jr. high everyone was mean to you but you still found it in your heart to look past and still love them. while you were sick you still made sure everyone around was okay with their life. you make me see what it really means to be a person. i will miss you greatly, i will think of you everyday. you are so strong, and i know that you are where you want to be. you were the best friend i've ever had. I miss you.

Kayla, I didn't know you, but I knew of you through your Auntie Susan's blog. Your courage, grace, and beautiful smile will remain with all who knew you or knew of you. May you rest in peace, and your parents and family feel God's loving arms around them. Who was it who said - "Only the good die young".

Kayla,
You are such an amazing person, and I know now at night that you're up where you truly belong, with all the other stars that illuminate the sky. Everyone you came in contact with will always remember you because of how truly amazing you were. I still remember when you were in grade nine, you sang at the school talent show, and it was that really cool song in japanese! It was soo cool!. I will always remember you and thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
