Darrin Starck Obituary
STARCK, Darrin Todd December 16, 1962 September 11, 2008 He leaves to mourn his mother, Cindy Scott, his stepfather, Norm Scott, his brothers and sisters, Dennis (Vicki) Starck, Sheryl (Rick) Plante, Neil, Scott, and Les Starck, Rob (Pam) Scott, Debbie Hunt, Norm (Rose) Scott, Fran (Steve) Scott, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Darrin touched so many people in the course of his 45 years and his friends meant the world to him. You are all such special human beings; otherwise you wouldn't have been called a friend. We thank you all for being there for Darrin. The family would like to express a special thank you to a few of those friends; Andrew and Joe for being there for us; we will never forget your love, support and kindness. Dougie, you will always remain a part of our family and we mourn with you, the loss of your best friend; and his extended family at Depend a Dor, you were so wonderful to Darrin and he respected and cared for you deeply. Also we thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Royal 4 Ext., Hospice, and special thanks to Edris his home care nurse, you made Darrin's final days much easier, and you did it with so much kindness and dignity. Darrin's average day consisted of working extremely hard, always giving only the best, and then relaxing with a couple of cold beers. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and his Sunday mornings with Mom having breakfast & doing the crossword. Darrin lived life, and he was as true as it came. He never mixed words and he always spoke his mind. You may not have always liked what he said but he was never hurtful and you respected him for it. There was never an unkind word spoken of him. Darrin we miss your quirky little smile, you're wonderful sense of humour, and the way you touched all of our lives. We are all better people for having known you, we are so thankful to you for helping us through the last four weeks. You were our rock and we will never forget you. We will see each other again, watch over us until then. We love you and miss you so much. Love from the Family of Darrin T. Starck. A celebration of Darrin's life will be held on October 25, 2008 at Paisley's Restaurant from 14 PM. 500235
