Martin A. Jeffers, loving father of Gracemarie A., Rebeca Jean, Catherine Mary and Martin-John D. Jeffers; devoted grandfather of Azul and Quaker Cohlmia and Tabatha Jeffers, Amber, Tyler and Dakota Fitzgerald and Kai Cohlmia; fond brother of Emmett J., Edward (Sonia) and Frank Jeffers; and Mugs (man's best friend). Visitation Sunday, Nov. 18 at the John E. Maloney Funeral Home, 1359 W. Devon Ave., Chicago, from 3 to 9 p.m. The family and friends will meet Monday, Nov. 19 for Funeral Mass at St. Margaret Mary Church, 2324 W. Chase Ave., at 10 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Trout Unlimited, P.O. Box 7400, Woolybugger, WV, 25438 or the American Cancer Society, 77 E. Monroe St., Chicago, IL 60603 appreciated. We are all feeling the sadness. Marty was a great guy. His grandfather Martin talked about him all the time. He kept us informed of all his great deeds. Helen, his Aunt loved him dearly.
