FALMOUTH — Jacqueline Grenville Addison of Falmouth died unexpectedly on Sept. 30, 2008, at Falmouth Hospital, from complications associated with multiple system atrophy.

Jackie was the wife of Daniel Charles McCorkle and the mother of Julianna Cooper McCorkle and Evelyn Pake McCorkle.

Born in London, U.K., she grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and she was a graduate of Cleveland Heights High School and the Parsons School of Design.

She spent her career as a freelance graphic artist and product designer, first in New York City and then in Falmouth. Her work included textiles, paper products and ceramic and plastic tableware produced by numerous home goods manufacturers in the U.S. and overseas.

Besides her husband and daughters, she is survived by her parents, Anthony Addison and Jane (Cooper) Addison of Lyndhurst, Ohio; two sisters, Emily Brindza of Lyndhurst, Ohio, and Vivien Addison of Austin, Texas; a brother, Mark Addison of Austin, Texas; godmother, Alison Cooper; and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.

A celebration of Jackie's life will be arranged later in the fall.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Falmouth Service Center, P.O. Box 208, Falmouth, MA 02541.

Arrangements are by the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home.
