Gaetano Balsamo Obituary
Guy served in the Korean War, and worked in several small businesses in later years. Most importantly, he was known for the many friendships he maintained and lifetime relationships he forged. There was nothing more important in his life than his family and extended network of friends.
Guy is survived by four brothers, Joe, Lou, Raymond and Robert Balsamo, all of New York; his daughter, Gina Jank of New York; three stepchildren, Christopher D. Johnson of Maynard, Garrett Johnson of Orleans, and Pam Curran of Acton; six grandchildren, Kristy and Damon Jr. Jank, Connor Johnson, and Katherine, Meghan and Matthew Curran; his loving friends, Tim Aselton of Dennis and Nancy Winstanley of Orleans.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday, Oct. 10, from 5 to 7 p.m., in the Nickerson Funeral Home, 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, followed by his funeral service on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 1 p.m., in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in his memory can be accepted at the funeral home.

Miss you uncle Tommy, thanks for all the advice you provided me as a young man. You were a character for sure. I came to see you last year. You will always live in my heart. Rest in peace with the rest of the family. Love you.
