HANSON — Ronald Anthony Martini, of Hanson, formerly of Osterville, passed away on Oct. 5, 2008, at Jordan Hospital, after a long battle with cancer, at the age of 69.

He is survived by his wife, Diane (Delano) of Hanson; his daughters, Lisa Sullivan of Osterville, Rhonda Morrison of Hanson and Dina Martini of Winchendon; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Ronald was a self-employed carpenter, who enjoyed fishing, antiquing, the Red Sox and especially enjoyed his work, building, and time spent with his grandchildren.

He served in the Navy and was honorably discharged in 1959, after serving 2½ years.

All services are private. There are no visiting hours.

Arrangements made by the Richard Davis Funeral Homes of Plymouth and Manomet.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Jordan Hospital Cancer Center, 275 Sandwich St., Plymouth, MA 02360. or to the Dana-Farber Jimmy Fund, 44 Binney St, Boston, MA 02215.
