Fanny Sartorio Obituary

CARLSBAD, Calif — Fanny Sartorio passed away on Oct. 9, 2008, at her daughter's home in Carlsbad, Calif. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa., on April 11, 1914, she resided in Brewster for the past 35 years.

Predeceased by her loving husband, Dante Sartorio; daughter Beverly Wood; son-in-law Sidney Wood; and grandson Daniel Wood. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Maxine and John Zartarian of Brewster, and Jeanne and Bill Herrick of Carlsbad, Calif. She was the grandmother to 10 beloved grandchildren, great-grandmother to 15 great-grandchildren, and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be in California. Any donations can be made to the Visiting Nurses Association of Cape Cod, 255 Independence Drive, Hyannis, MA 02601.

How saddened I was to hear of the passing of my father's sister Fannie. I am the daughter of Ben Fox, Fannie's brother who passed away 24 years ago. My deepest sympathy to Jeanne, Maxine and the rest of the family.
