Esther Baker Obituary
Esther was born in Milton and was a graduate of Milton High School. She was a member of the Milton Hoosic Club and the Neighborhood Club of Quincy. Moving to Cape Cod in 1968, Esther loved to play golf and she was a member of the Oyster Harbors Club and Wianno Club. She was also a longtime volunteer at Milton Hospital for many years.
She was the wife of the late Newton S. Baker Sr. Esther leaves two sons, Newton S. and his wife, Elaine of Blythewood, S.C., and David R. and his wife, Sandra of Marshfield. He also leaves six grandchildren, Christopher Baker, Nicole Baker-Kayton, Stephen Baker, Jared Baker, Hilary Baker-Catala and Alexis Baker; and five great-grandchildren, Domenic, Nicholas, Samuel, Olivia and Drew.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Oct. 24, at 11 a.m., in St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Wianno Avenue, Osterville. Memorials in her name may be made to St Peter's Episcopal Church, Wianno Avenue, Osterville, MA 02655.
