Billy Dingler Obituary
MOORESVILLE -- Mr. Dingler, 78, of Shearers Road, died Sunday, December 10, 2006 at his residence.
Born October 12, 1928 in Mooresville, he was the son of the late Roy Adams and Lillian Davis Dingler. He was a retired brick mason for Magee Brothers in Monroe, NC and a member of the US Navy.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine McGrady Dingler; son, Ronald Lynn Dingler; brother, Robert 'Bob' Dingler.
Mr. Dingler is survived by children, Donnie Dingler of Charlotte, Paula Starnes and husband, Doug of Charlotte; brothers, Gus Dingler and wife, Joanne of Mooresville, Charlie Dingler of Mt. Ulla; grandchildren, Angela Gay and husband, Jamie, Lisa Starnes, Amy Haigler and husband, Matt; great-grandchildren, Devon, Dillon, Lauren, Raven and Cassie.
Funeral services will be held December 13 at 11:00 AM at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Woods officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Community Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday from 6:30-8:30 PM at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Iredell County, 2347 Simonton Road, Statesville, NC 28625.
The Dingler family is being served by Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville.
