Barbara,
I got to know Ed in the early 60's in Old Town. We lived in the same building for a while. Ed was a great guy and will be dearly missed.
Ed was the kind of person you can say " I am glad I knew him. and I am".

Barbara,
When my mom called to tell me of Ed's passing I was very sad.
Remembering Ed playing his harmonica for us, every time we visited your home when I was a child, brings me joy.
My dad, Bill Shinn, was his close high school - Maywood friend and I think they were together at U of I too. A few years ago Ed gave my mom a DVD of the Canadian fishing trip he and dad went on with a couple of other friends - back in the late 60's. My dad passed away in 1983 so I am so happy to have that memory of them.
My thoughts are with you.

Barbara,
It was always a pleasure to help your husband when he would come in to buy jewelry for you for special occasions. My sympathy to you and your family at this sad time.

It was a pleasure working for Ed Mossner, he was a great boss. Enjoyed going to work and listening to his stories on how he and his wife Barbara travel to California on his motorcycle for their honeymoon. He always had something to laugh about. I will miss him but alway left everyone with good memories.
