Dustin Lee Obituary
Corporal Dustin Lee was born April 7, 1986, in Meridian. He was employed by the U.S. Government as an United States Marine.
Survivors include his parents, Jerome and Rachel Rich Lee of Quitman; brother, Camryn Matthew Lee of Quitman; sister, Madyson Taylor Lee of Quitman; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Terry Rich of Stonewall; paternal grandparents, Charles and Lavada Lee of Louisville; maternal great-grandfather, X.L. Richardson of Stonewall; uncles, Greg Lee and Tina of Louisville, Brian Rich and Lisa of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Lee Rich and Dana of Stonewall; cousins, Brittney Lee, Toby Lee, Mason Rich, and Lathan Rich.
Pallbearers will be the United States Marines. Honorary pallbearers will be: Blake Palmer, Barry Howard, Cody VanDevender, Toby Lee, Adam Harper, Grant Fleming, Scott Davis, Phillip Holifield, Adam Neal, Ross Roberts, and Anthony Chancelor.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Bank Plus Branch, Jerome or Rachel Lee, Corporal Dustin Jerome Lee Memorial.

Yesterday, as we celebrated July 4th, we hav ree learned it is lot more than a day off from work, and more than cookouts, and fireworks.

Today, an article honouring Military Dogs features on the web site of Cesar Milan, and it was wonderful to see Lex mentioned there, along with his photo taken at the time the Lee family took him home. There is not a second that passes that my heart does not ache for you. You and Lex continue to touch lives. I'm so thankful and proud that God blessed me with the short time to love and raise such a Precuous Gift from Heaven.
Your little sister, brother and I know you are celebrating with your MWDs, Lex and Doenja, within the Gates of Heaven. Your devotion of Faith and leadership was so strong and evident with everything you did. Your bond with K9s was extraordinary as I watched you grow from a child with our pets to helping me as a teen with search and rescue to a very proud United States Marine K9 Handler. Always there to lend a hand to anyone in need, always there to protect until the tragic devastating day. But you know what... you are still reaching out touching hearts and changing lives with your love, your faith and your patriotic service for what you stand for.
God shows me the way and reminds me I will celebrate with you again. I know you are watching over your little sister and brother. I see the unmistakable pain in their eyes missing their big brother. As you talk to them, keep them strong, hold them tight, and assure them as you are there with them. We have been through so much but keep Faith knowing God is in control. I sing the verses of Psalms 100 often with smiles and tears as memories flood continually as it calmed and I held all three of my precious little ones...
