Todd Dinsmore Obituary

DINSMORE, Todd B. Died suddenly on December 11, 2008. He was 38. He is survived by his 3 children: Ari, Jacob, & Waverly, his mother Lois Yates and brothers John and Richard and his grandparents. Todd graduated cum laude from Rutgers Masters Program. He worked for the NJ Senate democrats for 13 years and was currently working as a lobbyist for MGR. Todd was an accomplished guitar player and everyone loved to hear him play. Todd loved his children and had a very special bond with his oldest son Ari; they were extremely close. Although his death is a tragedy and his immediate family is devastated, we know that he is safe now, in peace and his fragile soul can no longer be hurt. He will live in our hearts forever. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 14 at the PERINCHIEF CHAPELS, 438 High St., Mount Holly. Family and friends may call from 10:00am to 12 noon. A service will follow at 12 Noon. Interment will be private. Refreshments will follow at a place TBA. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to BCAA Burlington County Animal Alliance, 7 Pioneer Lane, Westampton, NJ 08060, where his favorite dog Tallulah was rescued.

Gosh it's been so long that this is devastating to read. I knew Todd for a short time years ago. My heart is broken. I am happy he is at peace. He went through more than any human should ever have to.

Dear Dinsmore Family,

I am saddened to hear about the loss of Todd and I offer my sincerest condolences.

Thanks for considering the Burlington County Animal Alliance in your memorial request. I know from personal experience that they are a fantastic group and have helped us tremendously at the Burlington County Animal Shelter with all their rescue efforts and care.

Todd and a host of other folks have had their days brightened by the work of the BCAA and your consideration will assist them in the good work they do. It is certainly a great way of honoring Todd.

Our thoughts are with you.

Sincerely,
Bill Weisgarber, Program Manager

Todd and I were in a band together 20 years ago at Moorestown High School. He was by far the best guitar player at the school and the drummer John and I were lucky to have him in our group. I still listen to the old tapes of the band now and marvel at his talent -- I'll be sure to cue up his solos on "Hotel California" and "Sweet Child O' Mine" tonight and think of him. What a tragic loss.
