Dave, Dave, Dave,Not only was Dave my brother-in-law,He was my friend, not only a friend but a person you could talk to if you had a problem, if I needed to laugh he would make me laugh. When Dave retired, Pam and Dave joined us on wed night for dinner, we had some good laughs. Dave would always say if the doctor didn't tell him he was sick, he wouldn't have known. I think the last 3 weeks were the hardest for him. Now the hard part comes for Pam and his Sons, and their family, But we will always be their for you. Love Puddy and Don

Dear Pam,
I was so very sad to hear of Dave's passing. Memories of Cramer Hill ,Vets and WWHS remind me of the "all around" great guy he was and how happy he made you!! Reading all the notes here confirmed that he continued to be a great husband, father, friend and co-worker. Through Charlie and Linda, I knew he was an awesome brother as well.
Hold on to the wonderful memories you have. They are yours forever to hold close to your heart and sustain you at this most difficult time. You and the family are in my prayers.
With sympathy, Marianne Charlton (Shinn)

Dave Lawyer, Wonderful man, Great Husband and Grandfather, good listener, good carpenter. I worked with him every day on the jobsite and he was always there for you. He was a pleasure to work with and I will miss him dearly. He is up there now hunting and so happy not to have to drive to work ever again. Keep you chin up Pam, he is in a better place and will always be looking down on his family keeping them safe.

On behalf of everone who worked with Dave, the construction industry lost a true gentleman and the most talented of craftsman. Daves projects needed no temporary lighting, his presence and smile served as a guiding light to all he met on the job.

I am sorry for your lose. I was privileged to work with Dave for a few months before he retired. He provided a wealth of experience and knowledge that he was always willing to share. His sense of humor and laugh brightened many an otherwise stressful day. As with his retirement and now with his passing, he will be truly missed.
