I'm so sorry to hear about Demi. I believe she's the last of the poker group, isn't she? How lucky we were to grow up having the home of Demi and Gene to hang out in. I have great memories of my childhood, Lorraine and some of our mischief, having Carol and Carla as "older" sisters, John as the little brother and of course Demi and Gene as second parents. What great memories.
Please know that I'm thinking of all of you during this time - a passage of another generation.

Carol,
Carla told us about your mother today - we are so sorry to hear about her passing. At 91 she had a very long life!
It's been a long time, thinking of you.

Carol Jean and family,
I'll always remember my "second mother" with such fondness and love. She was a very special lady and a dear friend to Mim and Bert, my parents. I have such wonderful memories growing up on Tolman Street and spending time with all your family. Richie and I want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

We send our thoughts and prayers to the Scafidi/Marmonti family. I was lucky to have known Demi through the Friends of Fernald and the Regina Margherita Lodge. She was always so kind and a heck of alot of fun to be with. I can remember the Halloween Costume parties we had at the Lodge...Wow, they were so much fun with Demi and Gene!!!
Demi will be missed but there is only one place for her to be, Heaven! God Bless you all,
Claire (Cusano) Cincotta and Sonny
PS: My Mom also sends her love to you all. She went to school with Demi and were friends most of their lives. She is also 91 and really can't get out much.

Sad to see, but 91, nothing wrong with that! I forgot about all those Scafidis. Last time I saw her with Carol Jean(Gene?) was at the Super Market, remember?

Thinking of you all and realizing how lucky we all are having such a big family. I will always remember Sunday afternoons there. Eating stuffed artichokes.. They were the best.. She was the best..
Love to all,

I am a fairly new member of the Regina Margherita Lodge and did not know Demi personally, but I heard many stories from some of the other members. They talked very highly of her. She will be missed.

Carol, Lolly, John and families, Thinking of you all and sending my love during this difficult time. Take comfort in the fact that Aunt Demi has a lot of loved ones waiting for her to welcome her home.
