I never knew this fine young Marine, your relative, Lincoln Woods. I just learned about him through a mutual friend of his. As a veteran of the US Navy who had the priviledge of serving with thousands of Marines while on active duty, I salute Lincoln for his dedication to this great country of ours. My prayers are with you, the survivors. The rest is in God's hands.

To Lincoln's Family,

I am deeply sorry about Lincoln's passing and I have been continually praying for the Lord to comfort you in this extremely hard time. While working with Lincoln in the Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton I remember what a positive attitude he always had, his sense of humor, and the fact that he always strived in everything that he did. I know that he will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he has touched.
May God Bless You

Tracy,Alan,Dylan and Ashley,

I'm praying for and with you during this period of difficulty. Lincoln was a very close friend of mine throughout High School and once we graduated we both joined the US Military unfortunately different branches. I dont know if you guys remember me but Lincoln and I actually ran away together in High School enroute to Georgia but were caught a day later picking up his check at the old tire shop...lol I guess the Military was a better choice for both of us. If you guys need anything please give me a call. 707-208-9338, I'm still stationed in California and Lincoln will always be remembered....God Bless You All

You are in our prayers today. We ask that God send his blessings to you during this difficult time. May the strength of Lincoln's love always be with you. We can't express how much we share your sorrow. Only time can heal, but Lincoln's love will be with you always. Memories of Lincoln will be held close to our hearts forever. People like Lincoln are rare, and we have been blessed to have had him in our lives. There are so many qualities that Lincoln had, they are far too numerous to recount. His compassion, kindness, and gentle being will be sadly missed by all. May God's grace and strength be with you. Words alone can not express our heartfelt sorrow at your loss. May the peace of God be with you during this difficult time. May it help to comfort you that we deeply share your sorrow, and are thinking of you and praying for you. Please know that our loving thoughts are with you. May the peace which comes from the cherished memories of love from Lincoln comfort you.

Tracy,Alan, Dylan and Ashley,
Words will never be enough to let you know how we are feeling about Lincoln. It is such a painful and hard time for all, but we do have wonderful memories of a young boy growing up to be such a good man. It was a joy to watch our kids play at base housing and then grow up and go onto different paths. I will always cherish these memories and the love for your family. You are my sister through the Navy and I am only a phone call away. Ashley, thank you for being there for Lincoln, I remember your wedding and how he looked at you and the love that was shown between you both. It is a love that will be cherished.

January 8, 2009

I do not know your family however I want to say "thank you" for all your son, husband and soon to be daddy did for our country. May his daughter know her father and what he did for his fellow man.. May God bless you and your family during this difficult time.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family in this terrible loss. It was truely an honor to work with Lincoln at Raleigh-Durham. As his primary trainer it was a pleasure to train Lincoln each day. He was always ready to do whatever I asked and we laughed at some of the results. He had the attributes to become a great controller and I considered him a great friend. I will miss his generosity and friendship dearly and can only let you know he will never be forgotten. My prayers are always with you.
