Barbara Maloy Obituary
Barbara K. "Babs" Maloy, 73, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, died Monday, September 7, 2009, at her daughter's residence in Reston.
She was the widow of Vance Maloy.
Born May 27, 1936, in Asheville, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late J. Reid Key and Pearl Ray Wiggins Key.
She is survived by her daughter, Lori Saunders and her husband, David, and their children, Marly and Carl Saunders; her sister, Pearl Ray Key Morris; her niece, Vickie McNeill; and her nephew, Dana Morris.
Family and friends are invited to Mrs. Maloy's Life Celebration from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2009, at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 West Maple Avenue, Vienna, Virginia.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, September 10, 2009, at Money and King Funeral Home.
A memorial service will also be held in Lehigh Acres at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, Fort Myers, FL at www.hopehospice.org; Capital Hospice, 6565 Arlington Blvd. Suite 500, Falls Church, VA 22042 or The Lee County Public Library, Children Services at www3.leegov.com/library/
