AGE: 71 MORRISTOWN
Eileen B. Tureo, 71, of Morristown died Wednesday, Dec 31, 2008 peacefully at home with her family surrounding her after a long courageous battle with cancer. A graduate of the Columbia School of Nursing, Eileen practiced as a nurse for many years until eventually staying home to care for her children. Over the years she became schooled in biofeedback and in the techniques of Reiki both of which were extremely important to her. She was a member of Friends at the Morristown Township Public Library which was fueled by her passion for reading. Eileen loved to read and do crosswords, as well as sudoku.
Most importantly, Eileen loved her family especially her husband Charles M. Tureo, her daughter Lisa B. Tureo-Acuna and her husband Lawrence, her son Marc A. Tureo and her beloved granddaughter Katherine Acuna. She is also survived by her 2 sisters Alice Henry, Mary Mahlstedt, her sister-in-law Mary Marcum, and brother-in-law George Tureo as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Elizabeth & C. Arthur Baumann as well as her dear mother-in-law Martha Tureo and her husband Charles H. Tureo.
