Condolences to the Mabin family
I have a distinct memory of Jamie just out of HS working in the coffee shop at MMH. He was always quick with a smile and a friendly hello which made you feel happy to know him. I also remember reading when his mother passed that Jamie was instrumental in caring for her. May he rest in peace and may The Lord give his family comfort.

Jamie was a professional and a true example of a Christian man, something we can all strive to be. He always talked lovingly of his wife, daughter and family. For the last year and half we at Xanadu enjoyed his infectious smile and happy demeanor; which will forever remain in our memories. You are deeply missed from the project and our lives…..Rest with the Lord my friend.

I'm not one to question the Lord, but I'll never understand why he called Jamie now. I'm saddened that he's left us all, but I'm comforted by the fact that he's got to be the one leading all the Marines who guard the streets of Heaven.

I only had the opportunity to work with Jamie for a year. He loved his family very much and he let you know every chance he got. He said that I Had Siberian Flu while I was Sick, he always thought of something clever to say. My friend, Good night and sleep Tight. We will make the Snow for you.

It is difficult for us to understand why God takes those in the prime of their life.
I have known Jamie since he was a teenager and am so shocked.
I know that at this time you are all devastated by his sudden passing. With time, the pain and shock of his loss will lessen but as long as he remains in your hearts and memory, he will always be missed but never completely gone.

Words cannot begin to explain the loss we feel for the entire family. Jamie was a great friend and what a conversationalist. We will forever cherish the school and basketball memories, and those station wagon rides to and from practices, etc. A wonderful son,brother,husband and father will truly be missed! Jamie was one of the best adult students I have worked with at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He was so enthusiastic about the engineering program that I asked him to become a spokesperson. He was overjoyed with the invitation and agreed to be featured on the FDU Adult Students' webpage at www.fdu.edu/achieve. I am so grateful for having known him for what seems such a short time...but I know he is with the Lord. I pray comfort and strength to his family.
