I did not know Diane very long but knew her as a really fun person. She was so active and will be missed at our Friends of the Library meetings.

To Diane's Family, and Mark,
We're very sad to hear of Diane's passing. Harry and "Big" Diane and our parents grew up together and were close friends. We used to have a lot of fun with all the Wallace family even before they lived on Eastgate. We have very fond memories of Diane, Jill, Mark and her parents as we all were growing up. We will miss Diane, and are truly sorry for your loss. The Thobe Family.

Keri,Heather and Michelle, there is nothing I can say that will ease the loss of your mother only the knowledge that she touched so many in so little time. She will not be forgotten. If there is anything I can do from afar please do not hesitate to contact me.

My thoughts and prayers are with Diane's family. She was such a fun person to be around even back in the Brownie Troup, elementary, high school and the years since school. There is so many good memories, which is priceless! May time help ease the loss and she will always want her family to keep on going and laughing.

Heather, Michelle, Keri and family,
Our prayers are offered for your peace and comfort during this sad time. Your mom was one of the best friend's anyone could have. She was so easy going and loved to share a laugh and have fun! Diane's zest for life was contagious and she was always up for whatever life's circumstances brought her. She was so proud of all of her girls and grandbabies! We will always remember her with fondness and will continue to keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Beth & Steve Herold & family

Diane,
Thank you for making me laugh or smile every time that I talked to you.
Also - thank you for your sterling and heartfelt rendition of Rod Stewart's "Maggie May" at the library Christmas party at Tank's quite a few years ago. Truly a moment that will live forever in rock and roll history.
God bless and keep you.

We are so sorry for the loss of your mother. Diane came in on a regular basis to purchase potato salad for her daughter out of state. She was just in recently and we had discussed at length her dogs and how she was looking forward to spring. You are all in our thoughts.

Diane was so full of life, it's hard to believe she is gone. I had some great times with her and will always remember her great laugh and sense of humor. I feel lucky that I was able to even know her and enjoy her company. My heart and love go out to her family, her beloved daughters and her grandbabies. She will always live on behind the twinkle in all your eyes.

Diane, It is a surreal time now that you are no longer with us. You were an incredible woman and an inspiration to many. You taught me so many things when I first began working at the Library 12 years ago. Thank you for sharing your passions with all of us -- books, history and family! Rest in peace, knowing your legacy is a job well done! Stephanie

Keri, Michele, Heather and family's
I'm so truly sorry for your loss. Diane was a good friend. We did some "crazy" things during our high school years. I believe the last time I talked to your Mom is when I lost my sister.
Even though I had not seen her for a while, I thought of her always and often.

Mom,
I can't believe you are no longer with us and my heart breaks knowing that my children will only remember you through my memories. I will try not to grieve for you too long, for I know that you are where you are meant to be. I promise that this summer I will finally dig up your "lulac" bush and replant it at my house. I love you and I will always miss you
~your daughter,
