I think of Dom fairly regularly. He was a great boss, great mentor, but mostly a great friend. I will never forget him. He was also like a 2nd father to me.

I remember many good times with Dom such as bowling, softball and the office picnics Dom would host in his backyard. There was something special about them and I will never forget the delicious Italian sausage he grilled up with sautéed peppers and onions. For a short time Dom would ride to work with me and we had some really meaningful discussions. He really was like a father to me. Every so often I will have a dream and he is in it. Those are special dreams to me.

Our sincere condolences to the family of our cousin Don Viscardi, from his cousins Michael, Sam, Donny & Madeline Del Vecchio (children of Uncle Patsy and Aunt Ange Del Vecchio). Don was truly a wonderful man, and was much loved and respected by his family.

Dominic was not only my first university (Rochester) boss but a great mentor. I can honestly say he was the best boss I ever had. More importantly he became a friend and a person I could go to when I needed someone to talk to. A pseudo father at times. He'll be missed.
