Rochester: On July 6, 2008, age 92. Predeceased by sister Edith Flint. He is survived by his wife, Catherine S. (Fanning) Strassner; 1 son, K. Lee (Shirley); brother, Wilbur; sister, Eunice Ferguson; 3 grandchildren David (Theresa), Deborah (John) Toepper, Donald (Vene-ssa); great-grandsons, Kenneth Toepper, Eric Toepper, Luke Strassner, Mark Strassner; several nieces & nephews.
Service & Interment at convenience of family. Arrangements entrusted to: ARNDT FUNERAL HOME

Condolences to Kay, Lee, Shirley and all the family.
Ken was a wonderful next door neighbor on DeVitt Road when I lived at #18 and a memorable neighborhood character during the years I grew up across the street at #45. As kids in the neighborhood we all feared 'old man Strassner' but as an adult and neighbor, I found him an absolute cream puff. He knew how to fix just about anything. He worked harder than people 50 years younger than he. He had an unbelievable work ethic and integrity. He was a good man. I'll remember him with admiration and fondness.
Right now my husband is puttering around outside. We're summering at our cottage in Saranac Lake, NY. I know he, too, will be saddened by Ken's passing.
