(nee Buchanan)
Avon, Ohio: Formerly of Rochester on July 1, 2008 at age 64. Died at home following a valiant battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Ian, mother of Scott (fiancée Lana Knox); stepmother to Pamela O'Brien (Dave), & Douglas (Cheryl); grandmother to Tommy, Kyle and Erin. Daughter of Frank & Isabelle Buchanan (both deceased).
Karen worked for over 30 years in Rochester and Cleveland areas for Eastman Kodak Company, Brighton Reformed Church, The Harley School, St. Edward High School and Lake Ridge Academy. Private burial Oakwood Cemetery. For those wishing to make donations, the family suggests the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, or Community Resource Services 33501-L, Lake Road, Avon Lake OH 44012.
