Helen Walker Obituary
Clifton Springs/Phelps: Helen Taylor Armitage Walker of 11 East Main Street, died July 5, 2008 in Naples, N.Y.
Survivors are Karen (Herman) Armitage Parcero of Newark; Denise Armitage Cully of Fountain Valley, CA, Douglas (Ann) Armitage of Colleyville, TX; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Helen is also survived by her brother Leon (Dorothy) Taylor of Newark, sisters Lettie Farrell of Phelps, and Doris (Wesley) Payne of Harmony, NC. Also survived by stepson W. Scott (Sandra M.) Walker of MS. Helen Walker was preceded by husbands Vincent Clark Armitage and Nathan R. Walker.
There will be no prior calling hours. A memorial service will be held at the United Church of Phelps on Saturday, July 12th at 10:00 with a reception immediately following. Burial will be in West Lodi Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Church of Phelps, 58 Main Street, Phelps, New York 14532; or the Ontario-Yates Hospice, 756 Pre-Emption Road Geneva, New York 14456.

Helen was a friendly person and excepted me into her house very warmly. We went looking at antiques one time and watched fire works on the 4th another. I enjoyed her company when we could visit.

Helen will be truely missed by the walker side of the family. In the past 23 years we have had many good times with helen and nate. They opened their home to us when we visited and we always spent quality time together. We extend our sympathy to the other memeber of our family.
