Henrietta: On Saturday, June 14, 2008. Predeceased by beloved son, James J. Maxwell; wives, Anne Fegadel and Barbara Allen; parents, Dennis and Susan Maxwell, brothers Walter, Harold "Luke", and Gordon Maxwell; sisters, Mary Dixon Campbell and Betty Burke. Survived by devoted daughters, Susan A. Maxwell of Rochester, NY, and Debra M. (David) Allen of Coral Springs, FL; stepsons, James L. (Mary Ann) Allen of Pittsburgh, PA, and David B. (Debra) Allen of Coral Springs, FL; granddaughters, Renee M. (Brian) Laird of Clay, NY, Jennifer F. Allen of Pittsburgh, PA, Marisa A. Allen and Elizabeth B. Allen of Coral Springs, FL; sister-in-law, Ann Fegadel; brother-in-law, Joseph Irene; many nieces and nephews; and very good friend, Ed Pelo.
Joe was a World War II Navy veteran, a 24-year employee of the Taylor Instrument Company, and after 20 years of service, a retiree of the Eastman Kodak Company. Joe enjoyed many things, such as puttering, fishing, baseball, music, John Wayne movies, old westerns, crossword puzzles and American History. But his greatest joy and pleasure was his family, of which he was very proud.
Joe's Graveside Service will be held Friday, July 11, 2008 at 11 A.M. in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave. Please meet at the main entrance at 10:45 A.M.
The family invites all to attend Joe's Memorial Mass on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 1 PM at St. Monica's Church, 831 Genesee St. Donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans or a favorite charity in Joe's name. To e-mail a message of condolence, please visit Joe's guest book at:
