Gram, the big smile you gave to me each time I saw you was priceless. These last 4 years knowing you will be forever in my heart. I love you so much and will miss you dearly. Mackenzi's greatest memory of you was when she visited with Bobby and Lisa and you made an Ice Cream Cake and when she came home, you were the "best grandma" in the world. I am so thankful for the time we spent together in AZ. I will miss you daily and think of you often. I love you Gram.

Danielle,
I feel especially sad for you. The love of a grandmother has its own special place in our lives. I know you and gram had that special bond that many of us here in New York didn't have the chance to develop. She loved you and your family so much and would light up with smiles as she talked of you and the kids. You brought such joy to her. And she brought love and joy and warmth to you as well. I know the hurt you feel and wish there was a magic word that would ease your pain and sadness. Gram loved all the visits you made to see her in Phoenix and I know the thrill was still there when she saw you a couple of weeks ago while you were here in Rochester. She may not have been able to communicate as well, but inside I know she was so glad to see you. You are a warm and passionate soul and I know Gram felt the deep love you have for her. I pray God comforts you and softens the ache that is inside of you. I love you with all my heart and am here for you always. Love, Renee

Dad,
I know all too well how it feels to lose your mother. It doesn't matter how old you are, it still hurts. I know Gram depended on you through the years and you and Joan took such good care of her making sure she had food, taking her out and spending time with her. You were very good to her and she told me that on the phone many times. You were a good son to her. She was lucky to have you. I am so sorry for you and for your loss. I love you, Renee

Aunt Bonnie,
I am so sorry about Gram. Please take comfort in knowing she was so lucky and fortunate to have you by her side this past year to take care of her, visit with her and be with her as she took that journey to the nursing home. You were so loving and attentive to her and she knew how much you loved her. I am sorry for your loss. Love, Renee

Gram,
My memories of you are that of a very kind, gentle, warm and friendly grandmother that I wish I had the opportunity to spend more time with. Because we didn't live in the same state our visits were few, but you always had a smile when I saw you. I would send you cards in the mail and you never ceased to call me when they arrived to tell me how you enjoyed them so much. You saw the good in everyone and were a joy and delight to be around. You are sadly missed. With love, Renee
