Miller, Richard A.
Orlando, FL.: November 3, 2007, age 64, of Orlando, FL formerly of Amherst, NY. Beloved son of the late Herman & Margaret Miller. Brother of the late Robert Miller. Dick is survived by his aunt Lucille McEvoy, cousins John R McEvoy, Jr. and Barth Christian. A Memorial Service was held in Orlando in November. Committal Services will be held Saturday July 19, 2008 at 11 AM at Mount Hope Cemetery 791 Mount Hope Avenue, Rochester, New York. Friends invited.
Dick was born on July 17, 1943 in Rochester, New York. He was a graduate of the University of Buffalo School of Management Class of 1965 where he also earned his MBA. He had a long and rewarding career as a Certified Internal Systems Audit professional, working for M&T Bank in Buffalo from in the 60's thru mid 70's, J. Ray McDermott in New Orleans, and with the Orange County Comptroller's Office in Orlando at the time of his death. While in Buffalo, Dick was a dedicated volunteer firefighter with the Eggertsville Hose Company where he also served as President. Dick traveled the world extensively while working with J R McDermott, but he enjoyed the time spent living in Florida best. If desired memorials may be made in Dick's memory to the charity of your choice.
