Fairport, July 16, 2008. Survived by wife, Eileen; children, Carol Miller, Douglas Slocum, Gilbert Slocum, Gordon Slocum and Mary (Robert) Palka; grandchildren, Jessica, Aimee, Melissa and Joshua; great-grandson, Kaden.
Calling hours, Friday 4-7 at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, Egypt location, 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd. Fairport. Funeral Service, Saturday 10 AM at the First Congregational Church, Fairport. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center at U of R, 601 Elmwood Avenue, Box 704, Rochester, 14642 or to Lifetime Care Hospice, 3111 Winton Road South, Rochester, 14623.

As the youngest of the nine first cousins, I looked up to Les as not only the "patriarch" of the cousins,but as an incredible man with the most amazing sense of humor! You will be in our heart forever,Les! Your cousin Joanie
