Akers, Gary D., Sr.
Brockport: On Friday July 18, 2008, he is predeceased by his parents Curt and Velma Akers and two sisters Joyce and Nona. He is survived by his children Gary (Karry) Akers, Judy (Eric) Gooding, Tracy (JR) Napoleon and their mother Claudette, Chad Akers, Bridget, Roxanne and Tara and their mother Debbie; brothers Richard, Victor, and Craig; sisters Brenda Fox, Teresa Akers, Karen Mitchell and Pamela Sutton; 18 grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 3pm at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., 340 West Ave., Brockport, NY.

To all who attended Gary's Services,
Gary would have been so very proud of all the loving words and gestures made about him on this memoriable occasion of his passing. Gary still was the life of the party eventhough not there physically, but still genorated a few laughs and smiles remembering his love of humor and humorous antics. Thanks for attending the wonderful celebration of his life and memories. Gary will always be missed and loved dearly. He would have been so proud of his Kids/ Family and thankful to Claudette for the gracious get together afterwards. Love and Peace to All.

Dearest Cousins,
So very sorry to read of Garys' passing. I have very fond memories of his wild sense of humor and the loving kindness he always tried to show. I love and miss all of you very much, and hope you all can find peace and comfort knowing Gary is on another journey for a higher power than us. He will be dearly missed and always loved.
