To the Seaver Children-
I am sorry that I did not read the paper and know of your mothers passing.,as I would have wanted to give you my consolences in person. Please accept my sincere sympathy. I had visited your mother a number of times in the past few years while she was staying at Hilton East.We shared a laugh and a choclate or a hot fudge sunday. As you may or may not remember me from years ago, (back in the early seventies) she had taken me in ,as I was a teenage runaway. I had been friends with John and Mike from Junior high school.Your Mom was a kind and genorous person. She usually said what she thought and often had an encouraging word or laugh to send you on your way. On our recent visits she would not remember if I was there yesterday but she remembered the day I was with the "boys" when we got into trouble about one thing or another. She was always our buffer against "Daddy". She influenced me in many ways and taught me that faith in yourself, in your God and fellow man was most important.I have been working with at risk youth for the past 12 years and during the coarse of my work I remember her kindness often. I did not want to let her passing go with out a note to you all. May the Peace of the Lord be with today and always
