June Knapp Obituary
Irondequoit: July 20, 2008. Predeceased by her husband, Leslie and son, Gary. Survived by her daughter, Jean (Lindsay) Neidert-Collier; son, Dale Knapp; grandchildren, Joseph (Angel), Brian (Bonnie) and Chris (Theresa) Neidert, Laurie (Joe) Ragusa and Michael Knapp; 7 great-grand-children; brother, Charles (Betty) Mason; daughter-in-law, Ellen Knapp. June was past president of Point Pleasant Ladies Auxiliary.
Friends may call Tuesday, 5 -8 PM at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Road (between English and Latta). Memorial Service 11:30 Wednesday at Durand United Church of Christ, 4225 Culver Rd. Interment private. Friends wishing may contribute to the Point Pleasant Volunteer Ambulance.

To the Knapp and Collier families,
I wish to express my deepest condolences on the loss of your beautiful mother, June. I had the absolute pleasure of getting to know June in the last month and a half and the privaledge of personally taking care of her and overseeing her care at the Hurlbut Nursing Home. It was a real shock to hear of her passing this morning, but I am happy that she is no longer suffering. She was such a kind and gentle soul who exuded grace, wisdom, and was thankful for every little thing done for her. And she was so brave. Thank you for allowing us to care for her and getting the opportunity to get to know this special woman. You are such a beautiful family and a wonderful reflection of your mom. May you find comfort in knowing that your mother is no longer in pain and is reunited with your dad, watching over your family always. God bless you all. You will all be remembered and missed by the staff of West 2.
