Stead, Josephine M.
Fairport: July 18, 2008 after a short illness. Predeceased by her husband, S. Geoffrey Stead, M.D. Survived by her children, S. Matthew (Latha) Stead, M.D. and Lorna (Christopher) Affronti, Esq.; brother, Jim (Eve) Rowe of England; mother-in-law, Eileen Stead of England; sister-in-law, Elaine Beech of England; grandchildren, Thor, Tej,Trilock, Khartick, Clarice, Sebastian, Juliet and Benjamin and numerous relatives abroad.
Friends are invited to attend a celebration of Jo's life at the Country Club of Rochester, 2935 East Avenue (corner of East and Elmwood Avenue) on Friday, July 25, 2008 from Noon until 2:00 P.M. A brief service will begin promptly at 12:15 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jo's honor may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I cannot believe she is gone. She is an enormous influence on my life, and I have always loved her. I will always cherish the memory of this independent and, most of all, fun woman. She knew how to live!
