Steve,
So sorry to hear about your loss. Your father must have been an incredible man to raise a son as good and as an interesting character as you are. Remember, we are only on the earth plane for a very short time, but the soul and spirit are eternal.

Dear Steve, Liz, Melissa, Laura & James,
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad and Grandfather. We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers. May all of the wonderful memories you carry of him be added to by the memories of others that will be shared with you over the next few days and months. May these memories bring you smiles, laughter, and if there be tears, may they be tears of joy for the good fortune of having had him in your life. May these memories and your friends help to ease your grief.

Steve, so sorry to hear about your Dad. He lived a good long life rewarded with children and grand-children that he could be proud of. Now he joins those that he has missed and that is further reward for a good, long life. While I am sure that you will miss him and are feeling the loss, try to find strength from all that he gave you. "How fortunate am I to know people who make it so hard to say goodbye."

I feel so blessed to have known Stephen and to be a part of the family. His sense of humor was always present with a sly smile and witty remarks. My husband and at least one of sons has inherited those characteristics. May your gentle spirit rest in peace and your family be reassured that you are at home now in heaven.

One of my favorite memories about Pop Pop was his sense of humor. When we were young, my siblings and I would always ask him why he had no hair on the top of his head. And every time he answered with a smile, "because a hurricane came right through and took it right off!"
