Marty was my brother-law for many years and I have so many fond and fun memories of our relationship. I always told him he was the best brother-in- law anyone could ever have. I loved him.

I and my fellow school library teachers at the Brockport Central School District have known Marty for many years. I could always count on him to make me laugh whenever he visited my library. His easy going manner made me feel like one of the family. I am a very fortunate person to have known Marty and will miss him greatly.

Marty was more of a "Brother" than my "Brother-in-law." Riding with him as he piloted a plane, having Thanksgiving dinner with the family, he made all of us laugh, and grateful to know him...Marty loved Life, as well as his family and made the world a better place for all of us...we celebrate his life and enjoy the memmories he has given us...we are grateful to have know him. Marty was very special!

Ros,
For 5 years Marty was one of my bosses at MicroCopy. No, not a boss, I mean friend. What a great guy! Always smiling, always joking and always caring. There are tons of people who will miss him. I know your heart is aching right now. And it will for some time. But find peace in knowing that he's watching over his family as always, and that you will all be together again. May the Dear Lord bless you and hold you in His loving hand.

I knew Marti as a sales representative for Gumdrop Books. Such a positive, upbeat gentleman; a pleasure to talk with and a priviledge to have known. He will be missed by many.

I knew Marty from the John Marshall High School library where he was our Gumdrop Books rep. He was such a gentleman. Always had a smile. He told us about the family trip to his son's wedding in Mongolia and I expressed interest in seeing the photos. I don't know how long it was between visits to our school but he remembered to bring his photos at his next visit! We have missed him during his illness and will always remember him as the wonderful guy he was. My thoughts are certainly with is family and friends.

My name is Carole Ellis, and met Marty thru my son Michael Deck. Marty was really in my book and nice man. He helped my son by meeting me at the air port and he told his wife I saved his life. He was diabtic and I gave him some candy bar.
He will be missed by many.

Marty was a class act in a world of turkeys. His love of his family and constant initiative were a remarkable inspiration to others. Fair winds and following seas, great heart...
