Rochester: Peacefully, Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at age 99. Predeceased by his wife, Cecelia Durkin; son, Donald Casey; brothers, Cecil Casey, Patrick Casey; sister, Gracia Lesage; son-in-law, Carlos Villa. Survived by his son, Tomar (Ronnie) Casey; daughters, Lorna (James V.) Castelli, Ann Casey Villa; sister, Gertrude Casey; 8 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and Friends may call Monday, 4-7 P.M. at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons Street, PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057, in his memory.
