Our memories of Betty are ones of a great neighbor and friend. She never minded when my little kids would "pick" her beloved flowers for me- she would just laugh and say it was ok. She and Paul were present at many impromptu porch parties with Mike's homemade wine. Paul do you remember "Mike's meat market!" ? We sang, we told jokes and laughed until it hurt. She was so totally in love with Paul and her sons. Her guys were everything to her. Knowing her was our pleasure and our friendship with both Betty and Paul will always be something we treasure. Paul, we will keep you in our constant quiet thoughts. We hope you find comfort in the loving memories that you have. We love you and will pray for you.
Love,
Melanie, Mike, Sara, Mike and Mark Balestra

I have some wonderful memories of Aunt Betty that I'll hold dear to my heart. Starting with her encouraging my mother to allow me to shave my legs at 10 all the way up to pinching my husbands behind and telling him he has nice buns! She will never be forgotten. Paul, Brian, and Timmy you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love to you all.
