The word LOVE comes to mind that would deeply describe the meaning of Christopher Calvert.
He could light up the room with his smile and touch your heart with his words. I met Chris through a friend, Brian Raffa, and we remained friends, almost like brothers since my middle school days at Livonia. I could talk to Chris about anything, he would not judge or mock, but be supportive and encouraging. Most of the time though it was our laughter that sounded the many, many memories of good times and cherished moments. There was so much more I wanted to say to him and share with him. I wanted to tell him that I wanted him to be in my wedding someday, but no one knows what the future holds. He did know that I loved him and his family dearly.
A man said. "We cannot curse God for what has happend, this is life, but we can thank God for bringing Christopher into our lives." This comment was somewhat closure for me as I struggled with my loss of a friend. Christopher was a blessing for many and touched even more.
He was my best friend & brother, he will be missed.............R.I.P Big C

I used to work with Chris at the One Stop in Lakeville. He was a great guy and a lot of fun to be around. I will always remember our road trips to Niagara Falls. My thoughts are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Everyone Chris touched felt an immediate connection. He brought out the best in people. And Jill brought out the best in him. His love for his family and friends was boundless. My heart aches for Jill and Jacquie. They have both had to endure too many loses in their lives. Thank god for Jacob who will give them the strength and the courage to go on. As we watch Jacob and the land Chris tended grow, we will always have a piece of him here with us.
