Margaret Gleason Obituary
Rochester: July 25, 2008. Predeceased by her parents, Francis & Sophia (Updaw) O'Halloran, & her brother, Francis (Budd) & his wife Patricia O'Halloran. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Joseph H. Gleason; children, Patrick (Anne) Gleason of Binghamton, NY, Terrence Gleason of Raleigh, NC, Maureen (Thomas) Gray of Springfield, VA, Eileen (Douglas) Perryman of Webster, & Kathleen (Craig) Coon of Penfield; 16 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; brothers & sister, Jean (Fredrick) Lapple, James (Lily) O'Halloran, & Rev. Robert O'Halloran, C.S.B., also nieces, nephews & cousins. Marge was still working as a bookkeeper until this past April at age 85. Both she & her husband were very active members of Peace of Christ Parish at St. James Church where she served as Secretary for over 20 years. Marge was a graduate of both Corpus Christi School & Nazareth Academy. She was a member of the "Longtimers" (with husband Joseph) supporting the Boy Scouts of America in the Rochester area.
The family will receive friends to share memories MONDAY from 1 -4 & 6 - 8 PM at CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, 495 N. Winton Rd. (between Browncroft & Humboldt). TUESDAY at 9:30 AM. Margaret's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Peace of Christ Parish at St. James Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. I was sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Our parents put their roots down deep and we were blessed to grow up in a stable and safe neighborhood. Oh, for those carefree days.....

We came home from our annual camping trip to learn some very sad news. Marge was a wonderful woman and a fantastic neighbor for the past 31 years. We've missed her and Mr. Gleason the past few months now that they are living with Katy. Marge was truly one of a kind. Please accept our condolences at her passing. The Hiller Family
