Elinor Cuvelier Obituary
Ontario: Passed away peacefully at her home at age 75 on July 28, 2008. Predeceased by her husband, Bruce; brothers, Jerry and Larry Sampson and sister, Noel Hassett. Survived by her sons, Bradley (Nina), Brian (Barb), Craig (Alice) and Gregory (Julie) Cuvelier; grandchildren, Justin, Matthew, Ryan and Christopher, MacKenzie, Travis, Kyle, Nicholas and Cassandra.
Elinor was born in Massachusetts and raised in East Rochester, NY. She married and raised her family in Ontario, NY. She was an R.N. and graduate of the Genesee School of Nursing and co-founded the Pines of Peace Hospice Home in Ontario, NY in 1998.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 7-9 PM and Thursday 2-4, 7-9 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home, 1961 Ridge Rd., Ontario. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday at 10 AM in St. Mary's of the Lake Catholic Church, 5823 Walworth Rd., Ontario, NY. Interment Furnaceville Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Elinor may be directed to The Pines of Peace, P.O. Box 238, Ontario, NY 14519. Ref.

What a beautiful and awesome lady! A little quirky too! :) I will never forget tomatoe sandwiches for breakfast and broad spectrum antibiotic! She, (and Bruce), had an incredible influence on my life. I will always be grateful for the values, morals, and standards I learned through them. And I will continue to thank God for the priviledge of knowing and loving them.

Mrs. C was a wonderful neighbor that loved to have our kids around and welcomed us to use her pool and yard. Whenever we saw her, she was sure to smile and wave. You will be greatly missed by our family.
