Thomas Petix Obituary
Greece: July 26, 2008, at age 67. Survived by his wife, Kathleen Petix; son, Thomas (Jennifer Fede) Petix, Jr.; daughter, Tammy (Vern) Fleming; grandchildren, Andrew, Jennifer & Katelyn Fleming; mother-in-law, Jane Messenger; sister-in-law, Deborah (David) Ogletree; several nieces, nephews and cousins; many friends. Thomas is predeceased by his grandson, Nicholas Fleming; sisters, Maryanne Weis, Carolyn Roach. Thomas is a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Friends may call Wednesday, 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 9 A.M. at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd. Interment held at the convenience of family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 155 Washington Avenue, Suite 210, Albany, NY 12210 in his memory. Though its been a number of years since we have been in touch, I remember your family and your kindness to me when Tammy and I were young teenage neighbors.
