Schantz, Carol M.
Pittsford: Sunday, July 27th peacefully at Strong Memorial Hospital. Beloved wife of Robert M. Schantz of 56 years. Survived by husband, Robert; children, Anna Schantz, Frederick (Mary Ellen), Craig (Maria), Celeste (David) Kovachi and Eric (Colleen); son-in-law, Daniel Shields; grandchildren, Amanda, Meaghan, Merritt, Katherine, Gillian, Mary Grace, Nicholas, Patrick, William, Allison, Benjamin and Evan. Carol was a lifetime resident of Rochester, a graduate of Nazareth College and a longtime employee of the District Attorney's Office. Her strength and humor will be missed. Carol lived her life with values of being a mother, loving her family and creating a home.
Friends are welcome to call at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, 7501 Pittsford-Palmyra Road, Fairport (Egypt location), Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday 10 AM at St. John of Rochester. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to The Rochester Friendly Home are appreciated.
