Donald Lawrence Obituary
Rochester: U.S. Army Veteran.Born August 29, 1925 and entered into rest on July 28, 2008, after a long battle with cancer. He leaves to mourn his wife of 46 years, Evelyn Lawrence; two sisters, Carrie Dereath Lawrence of Jamaica, NY, Altheus (Beryl) Lawrence of Freeport, NY; sons, Donald (Shirley) Lawrence, Dean, Derrick and David Lawrence, all of Roch, NY, Leon Ambrose of Atlanta, GA, and Daniel Ambrose of Tupper Lake, NY; daughters, Donita (Joel) Cummings, Debbra (Thomas) Roberts, Detrice, Rhonda and Jeana Lawrence and Diane Evans all of Roch, NY; Delores (Edward) Rayam of St. Petersburg, FL; 33 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren; devoted nephew, Michael Lawrence of Jamaica, NY; nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends.
The family will receive friends to share memories, FRIDAY from 5-8 PM at LATIMER'S. Funeral Mass, SATURDAY, 11:00 AM at St. Monica's Church, 831 Genesee St. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The School of the Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Pkwy, Roch, NY 14623.

MY family sends their prayers out to you and yours. Mr. Lawrence was our family oil man for many years. When i was a youngster i'd love to see him come and pull up in his oil truck to fill our home so we would have heat. I have many fond memories of him. My he rest in peace.
