Bernice Sweetheimer Obituary

Sweetheimer, Bernice
Poway, CA: Bernice Sweetheimer, 81, of Poway, CA passed away July 29 2008. She was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Nelson, in 1986. They were long time residents of Rochester, New York before retiring to Poway in 1981. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Escondido.
Mrs. Sweetheimer is survived by daughters, Judy Sweetheimer and Donna Sweetheimer both of Poway; a son, Les Sweetheimer of Poway; a sister, Gertrude Fuller of Rochester, NY; a brother, Howard Sattora of Rochester, NY; and her beloved cat, "Snowball". She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 2:00 PM in the Poway-Bernardo Mortuary Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Grace Lutheran Church in Escondido or the Escondido Humane Society. Poway-Bernardo Mortuary is handling arrangements.

I am so sorry to read of Bernice's death. I worked with her for years at Empire Mutual Insurance Company- (Judy you worked there too right?) Bernice was a very sweet and very kind lady and I am sure her family will miss very much. My sympathy to her family.

Have many fond memories of our childhood,picnics,weddings etc. You will be missed by many as you were loved by many.May God Bless you & greet you with open arms. You were one of my favorite cousins.
